Georgia Music Teachers Association's "Chapter of the Year" for 2022-2023!

The Art of Collaboration
Are you a singer or instrumentalist who will ever perform with a pianist? Do you play in a trio or quartet? Are you a pianist who may collaborate with a singer or instrumentalist?
Are you a musician who plans to perform with other musicians?
If so, this workshop is for you! Excellent performances with other musicians rely on productive, detailed rehearsals. Productive, detailed rehearsals depend on thoughtful individual preparation. The Art of Collaboration workshop, led by five expert clinicians, includes four sessions designed to build these skills, preparing you for more successful and fulfilling collaborative experiences and performances.

Concessions will be available!
When: Saturday, April 1, 2023, 1:00-4:45pm (you can attend all four sessions or pick and choose as your schedule allows)

Where: White Bluff United Methodist Church (11911 White Bluff Rd., Savannah, GA, 31419)

Who: Everyone is welcome!
Attendees will benefit most from the workshop if they are at a late-intermediate or higher level of playing/singing and if they are able to follow along visually with a multi-instrument score (e.g. piano and solo instrument/voice, or instrumental trio).

We are aiming the workshop at a level appropriate for most local high school and college students. Adults and younger children will benefit as well, from professional musicians looking to refresh their knowledge to younger students seeking exposure to more advanced concepts. (A parent or guardian may accompany children 7th grade or younger for no extra charge.)

How: Simply fill out a registration form! As soon as payment is received, your reservation is secured.
