SMTA's 2024 Art of Collaboration Workshop
The Savannah Music Teachers Association is proud to present a yearly Art of Collaboration workshop, each year focusing on a different aspect of playing well with others.

The 2024 workshop's topic is "Physicality of Collaboration," focusing on how to use gesture, breath, and sight to raise the level of collaborative performances.
Led by three expert clinicians, this workshop's four sessions are designed to build musician's skills, increase their confidence, and prepare them for more successful and fulfilling collaborative experiences and performances.

When: Saturday, January 27, 2024, 1:15-5:00pm (you can attend all four sessions or pick and choose as your schedule allows)

Where: First Presbyterian Church of Savannah (520 Washington Ave., Savannah, GA, 31405)

Who: Are you a musician who plans to perform with other musicians? If so, this workshop is for you; all types of instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome!
Attendees will benefit most from the workshop if they are at a late-intermediate or higher level of playing/singing and if they are able to follow along visually with a multi-instrument score (e.g. piano and solo instrument/voice, or instrumental trio).
